Son in law of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, sent on 14-day remand.




LAHORE: Son in law of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Ali Imran has been sent to jail on 14 days judicial remand in the beating case of a bakery employee on Thursday while hearing on his bail plea has been postponed till Friday, Geo News reported.



According to sources, Ali Imran appeared in the police station on Wednesday where police arrested him under Section 109.

Today, police presented him before the area magistrate where the magistrate remanded Ali Imran in the police custody for 14 days after brief hearing of the case.

A notice was also issued to the Station house officer (SHO) in connection with Ali Imran’s bail plea while the hearing on the same has been adjourned till Friday.

The CM Punjab’s son in law will be sent to camp jail.

Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday had directed the administration to also include his son-in-law in the investigation of the bakery beating case in Defense, Lahore.
